In this illustration I wanted to create a contrast between the ordinary girl we can see from the back and the vintage glam view of her face. I'm quite pleased with how it's worked, especially as I was rushing a little bit towards the end to get it finished in time to watch Inspector Montalbano last night!
Don't forget - Just 30 days until the Sketchbook Tour 2012 starts. It would be amazing if you could come along and check out my sketchbook. For more details about the tour click here.
From tomorrow, I will also be posting a little snippet from my sketchbook every day until the tour starts. Just to wet your appetite!!
Last weekend I went on a screenprinting course at the Highland Print Studio in Inverness, and it was brilliant!
I started the course with no experience of screenprinting and left the following afternoon with my very own limited edition prints. My mind is brimming with ideas for future artworks, I'm definately hooked!
